It's Movie Time!

I love the holiday break - it is a fun time to go see the great movies that are out in theaters. This year we found time to see:
  • Did You Hear About the Morgans - I loved it, it was fun and cute. My hubby thought it was a little slow, but I enjoyed it.
  • Blindside - Excellent movie, if you haven't already seen it you really should. It is the feel good movie of the year ;)
  • Avatar - I will admit, I wasn't really sure I wanted to see this one, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is a long movie (don't get a large drink!), but it is such a visual movie - absolutely gorgeous! Great story about humanity, my son thought is was a little too 'green' but in the end it was really good.
For Christmas this year, my daughter had the great idea to make a digital family tree for the grandparents. So, she collected the pictures and I put it together. I have had several people ask for the background I made for it, so it is now available in my store at Polka Dot Potato. The set includes a jpg version of the background, sized at 11x14 (well, a little bigger to allow for the printing bleed). Just put your photos on it and send it to the printer! I have also included a png version of just the tree, so you can put it on your own background and recolor or resize it as you wish.

I also have a little freebie to offer today. I am a fan of graph paper, it adds a little something to so many layouts. You can use it as an entire background, or just a little swatch for journaling. There are so many possibilities. I hope you enjoy it, and as always I appreciate your comments!

Holiday Photo Greeting Cards

I love to get holiday photo greeting cards in the mail. It is so fun to see how a family has grown and changed. But, if you are like me getting everything ready for the personalized Christmas photo cards is a little stressful! Where do you start, where do you get them printed, etc. Do you want to do your own design, or find a cute one online?

I am going to introduce you to a fun site called Tiny Prints. They have some of the cutest holiday cards I have seen! You can choose from contemporary, classic, vintage, portrait or whimsical designs. Even better - their holiday cards start at only .69 cents each!

They have a special going right now if you order before November 16 (HURRY!) you can get free shipping PLUS $10 off holiday card orders of $75 or more OR $30 off holiday card orders of $149 or more using the coupon code TPSHIPSALE. All you need are your photos to upload, pick out a fun design and you are done!

Tiny Prints has a great turnaround time. This is from their website:

An estimated processing time and delivery date are given on each product description page. We count the first processing day starting at 12:01 am PST the business day after your order is placed. Thus, for an order placed at 5:00 pm PST on Monday, Tuesday (if it is not a holiday) constitutes the first business day for calculating the processing time for that order.

Processing time usually takes 4-5 business days to process before shipping. If you select rush processing, your processing time will be reduced to 3 business days. This does not include shipping transit time

So - if you want fun holiday photo greeting cards, Tiny Prints is a place you should really check out! (They also make fun Holiday Party invites and so much more!)

Now, on to today's freebie. How about a farewell to summer? This is a little kit I made for the Polka Dot Potato Potato Bar a while back. I love the colors in it, it is perfect for an autumn layout.

Please don't share this link or kit. You may direct people to my blog where they can download for themselves! If you want to be added to my mailing list, please email me at teriannscraps@gmail.com.
